Anoka County Library will present a program at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 16, at the Northtown Library on learning how to use the online resource ReferenceUSA.

A ReferenceUSA representative will demonstrate how to identify potential employers by type of business, geographic location, number of employees, sales volumes and more. Attendees will learn how to obtain names and contact information to ensure a resume lands on the right desk. Prepare for an interview by reading company business profiles and news, studying competitor's reports and checking stock and historical data - all available through ReferenceUSA.

ReferenceUSA can be used in all Anoka County Library branch locations and the Columbia Heights Public Library. It's also available 24 hours every day through the library website, by using your Anoka County or Columbia Heights library card number. ReferenceUSA is purchased by MELSA (Metropolitan Library Service Agency) using state and federal tax revenues.
